Race 4, in the Boulder Racing Cross Series, was held at Xilinx in Longmont. Temperatures were somewhat colder in the mid 40's with wind, but we've yet to get some "real" cross weather. The Blue Sky racing team had good representation with riders in several categories. The cowbells were ringing, the bbq was grilling and lots of folks showed up to cheer us on.
As usual, the start was fast and chaotic, but I was able to get into the front group. I was almost taken out in the first turn as the racer to my right didn't hold his line and drifted into me. Luckly I had some room to the left and was able to move over. Overall it was a good race for me.
