There's nothing in the engine room! Zero, ziltch, nada! I make the call, "Scotty, I need more power!", but the only reply I get is, "Captain, I need more time." I keep making the call, but there's just nothing there. There was nothing there a week ago at the mock race and there was nothing there at the CX race at Louisville yesterday. Maybe it's the last two weeks of training that's left me in this state, maybe it's something else. Whatever it is, my body is telling me to skip the race down south today and get some REST.
In more positive news, Dan, now known as Mr. Podium Boy, took the victory in the 35+/4's yesterday. Way to take the race to your competition and make it happen!
