Off the Chart

When we’re driven more by our fear than by our purpose, we make fundamentally different decisions. This, in turn, impacts our performance in a negative way. We start to act based what we’re against (e.g., not getting hurt) rather than what we’re for (e.g., winning). We hold back and we become overly cautious and risk averse. Remember to stay focused on what you’re for, your motivating purpose in your biking, and don’t let your fear own you.
