Going Slower is Going Faster

This week has been a recovery week. I used to dread recovery weeks. Going slow is no fun and certainly a waste of good legs. Now I enjoy going slow. I look forward to it and savor each pedal stroke. I imagine the hard work of the previous weeks being baked in as another layer of the foundation. The foundation that will support the house to come. It's unfortunate it has taken me four years to figure this out, but going slower is going faster.
